Other permanent entry visa applications (except general skilled, business skills, humanitarian, Distinguished Talent (subclass 124), Former Resident (subclass 151) and parent subclasses) from the PRC region are lodged, processed and decided at the Australian Consulate General Visa Office in Shanghai.

Applications from Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi and Hubei provinces are lodged, processed and decided at the Australian Consulate General Visa Office in Shanghai.

Applications for Citizenship by Descent from clients in Guangzhou, Fujian, Guangdong, Hunan, Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou and Hainan provinces are lodged, processed and decided at the Australian Consulate General Visa Office in Guangzhou.

All applications for Australian citizenship general eligibility and other situations, and applications to resume or renounce (give up) Australian citizenship should be lodged at the Melbourne CBD Office.
