Permanent Partner (subclass 801) visa applicants who were granted a temporary Partner (subclass 820) visa and who:

• lodged their Partner (subclasses 820 and 801) visa application on or after 1 July 2009
• are eligible to be assessed for the permanent Partner (subclass 801) visa (usually two years after application lodgement)

Permanent Spouse (subclass 801) visa applicants who were granted a temporary Spouse (subclass 820) visa and who:

• lodged their Spouse (subclasses 820 and 801) visa application on or after 1 October 2006 and prior to 1 July 2009
• are eligible to be assessed for the permanent Spouse (subclass 801) visa (usually two years after application lodgement)

Permanent Interdependency (subclass 814) visa applicants who were granted a temporary Interdependency (subclass 826) visa and who

• lodged their Interdependency (subclasses 826 and 814) visa application on or after 1 October 2006 and prior to 1 July 2009
• are eligible to be assessed for the permanent Spouse (subclass 801) visa (usually two years after application lodgement)
