Australian Business Centres
From 1 July 2008 business centres ceased processing new applications for the following subclasses:
- 457 – Business (Long Stay) – Standard Business Sponsorship
- 457 – Business (Long Stay) – Service Sellers
- 422 – Medical Practitioner
- 459 – Sponsored Business (Short Stay)
From 1 March 2009 business centres will cease processing new applications for the following subclasses:
- 119/857 – Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme
- 120/855 – Labour Agreements
- 121/856 – Employer Nomination Scheme
These applications are processed in the centres of excellence.

For applications lodged before 1 July 2008 or 1 March 2009 please direct your enquiry to the appropriate business centre in the state or territory where the application was lodged. There are business centres in every state and territory.
