Skills assessment authority

Before you can migrate to Australia as a skilled migrant you must have your skills assessed by the relevant national assessment authority. The assessment authority for your occupation is:

Council on Chiropractic Education Australasia (CCEA)

The Council on Chiropractic Education Austalasia (CCEA) assesses chiropractors trained outside of Australia and New Zealand who wish to be registered to practise in Australia and is also responsible for the accreditation of Australasian Chiropractic Programs.

If you have not completed an accredited entry-level chiropractic degree at a university in Australia or New Zealand, or do not have a current practising certificate in Australia or New Zealand then you must undertake the CCEA competency evaluation process before being eligible to apply to register with one of the Australian State or Territory Chiropractors Registration Boards.

For further information regarding the CCEA evaluation process please contact the authority below.

Completion of the CCEA evaluation process will not guarantee you automatic registration in Australia. Some Australian States or Territories may require a local jurisdiction assessment before granting registration.
