Fees
Skills Assessment and State/Territory licensing and registration generally attract fees. You can find out about fees for these services by contacting assessing authority and the state licensing and registration authority for your nominated occupation.
Bridging Courses
In some cases, you may be required to undertake additional training/bridging courses before you can practice your occupation in Australia or in a particular state or territory. Check with the relevant national and State/Territory authorities. This website provides general contact information for bridging course providers but again, check with the relevant national and State/Territory authorities.
Bridging study assistance for overseas-trained professionals under FEE-HELP
You may be eligible for a FEE-HELP loan to undertake a bridging course to enable you to meet the requirements for entry to your profession in Australia. The loan is for the payment of tuition fees for a bridging course. You will need to be a permanent resident of Australia in order to enrol in a bridging course for which FEE-HELP applies, and there are other eligibility criteria.
