Applications lodged outside Australia

When you have found the charge or fee in Australian Dollars (AUD), use the Currency Converter to find the equivalent amount in your local currency and the acceptable method of payment.
See: Currency Converter
See also: Method of Payment Accepted at Australian Missions

Note: If the charge or fee does not appear at step one of the Currency Converter, then:

  • the visas on that page may only be applied for in Australia with Australian dollars, or
  • applications may only be made online with payment by credit card, or
  • the charges for services on that page do not use the converter, and will be converted at the immigration office using the daily exchange rate. Please contact the immigration office where you will be lodging your application for the daily exchange rate.
