If you wish to convert more than one visa application fee, please do not add the fee amounts together prior to entering them into the currency converter below. Each visa application fee needs to be converted individually.
Please note the values in the currency converter are valid from 1 July 2008 until 31 December 2008 Canberra, AEST.
Please note that visa applications lodged outside Australia, may be paid for in Australia.

Note:
- The exchange rates applicable to fees and charges collected by the department are calculated according to regulation 5.36 of the Migration Regulations 1994. The rates are calculated every six months and are fixed for the following six months. The department uses the commercial exchange rates, plus five percent. The five percent is mandated by the Migration Regulations 1994.
