Australian Capital Territory Client Reference Group


Information, terms of reference and other material related to the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and Regions Client Reference Group.

Terms of reference

As an external representative group the ACT and Regions Client Service Reference Group will:

  1. Provide advice and comment on the quality and appropriateness of the department's service delivery within the ACT and surrounding regions and within the department's wider network of services.
  2. Work with the department to ensure it
    • is open and accountable
    • is fair and reasonable in its dealings with clients
    • has well trained and supported staff.
  3. Examine the development of alternative models of service delivery, including:
    • opening hours
    • the effectiveness of our outreach programs
    • the capacity to further utilise the electronic service environment
    • the use and effectiveness of our appointment system.
  4. Provide an opportunity for members to raise concerns regarding the department's policies and procedures.

Note: The Client Reference Group is not a forum for the discussion of individual cases.
