College of Immigration Oversight Group

The College of Immigration Oversight Group ('the Oversight Group') was formed in 2006 to provide high level advice to the the Secretary on:
- the establishment and operation of the College of Immigration
- the department's Learning and Development Strategy.
Initially the focus of the College has been on the learning and development needs for the Compliance, Border Security and Detention streams of the department. The Oversight Group provides advice on management and leadership programme needs and opportunities, as identified, and on other areas as the curricula of the College are further developed.
