National engagement

There are national engagements ranging across all the department's business areas. These groups provide input and feedback on various issues that affect the department and its stakeholders (including clients).

These engagements are categorised as follows.

Consultations and forums

This is information on engagement with key stakeholders who work directly with our clients or with the department.

Formal advisory structures

This is information on formal structures whose primary purpose is to provide advice to the minister or the department.

Other structures

This is information on a range of engagement types with external non-government groups where the purpose is other than advisory.

Government structures

These are formal structures for engagement where the participants are other government agencies.
