Stakeholder Engagement Practitioner Handbook

The department has recently published the Stakeholder Engagement Practitioner Handbook. The aim of the handbook is to provide departmental staff with a greater knowledge and capacity to engage with stakeholders and to achieve a more productive outcome for the department and stakeholder. It is based on a draft international standard (AA1000SES) on stakeholder engagement, on locally produced guidelines, and on departmental experience.

A draft of the handbook was distributed to various stakeholders and staff for comment. Following the feedback that was received, the handbook has been revised and now contains eight departmental case studies, simplified language and easy to read diagrams.
