On Friday 3 December, Mr Kruno Kukoc, First Assistant Secretary, Migration and Visa Policy Division, delivered a speech at the 2010 Australian Population Association (APA) Conference which was held in Surfers Paradise. The conference was attended by demographic and population academics and experts from Australia and overseas.
The speech ‘An overview of emerging challenges government planning and reform in the context of Australia’s temporary and permanent migration programs’ attracted significant attention and was well received by all participants.
