The Department of Immigration and Citizenship is one of a number of agencies working collaboratively in the community recovery and disaster relief efforts following the Victorian bushfires.

How we can help you

If you are an Australian citizen or a permanent or temporary resident of Australia and have been affected by the February 2009 Victorian bushfires you can contact the department for any citizenship or visa enquiries. 

The department can assist with all citizenship and visa enquiries in particular:

  • Evidence of Australian Citizenship (Certificate)
  • Certificate of Evidence of Residence Status
  • Re-Evidencing Visa labels into passports
  • Resident Return Visa
  • Visitor Visas and extensions
  • Spouse Visas
  • 457 Business Visas
