Outcome 1
Outcome 1 seeks to contribute to Australia's society and its economic advancement through the lawful and orderly entry and stay of people. The supporting departmental outputs are:
- Non-Humanitarian Entry and Stay
- Refugee and Humanitarian Entry and Stay
- Enforcement of Immigration Law
- Safe Haven
- Offshore Asylum Seeker Management.
Under this outcome, the department manages the annual Migration (non-Humanitarian) and Humanitarian Programs, temporary entry, litigation, detention and the prevention of unlawful entry.
