2002-03 Annual Report
As required by Sub-Section 63(2) and 70(2) of the Public Service Act 1999, I present to you the 2002-03 Annual Report of the Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs.
The report includes:
- An account of the operation of the Adult Migrant English Program, as required by Section 12 of the Immigration (Education) Act 1971; and
- A statement required to be tabled before both Houses of Parliament by Section 42(d) of the Australian Citizenship Act 1948.
A copy of the report is to be laid before each House of Parliament on or before 31 October.
