Output 1.4 Safe haven

Description

This output provides temporary safe haven in Australia for those displaced by upheaval in their countries whom the Government decides can be most appropriately assisted by provision of temporary haven in Australia.

Key results

• 15 persons were granted temporary safe haven visas in 2000-01.
