Program performance reporting
This report reflects the portfolio program structure as at 30 June 1998, with six Divisions within the Department:
- Migration and Temporary Entry;
- Border Control and Compliance;
- Refugee and Humanitarian;
- Multicultural Affairs and Citizenship;
- Parliamentary and Legal; and
- Corporate Governance.
The Immigration Review Tribunal, the Refugee Review Tribunal and the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters Ltd report separately.
Funding and reporting is on a program basis, dividing the Department's activities into seven programs:
- Migration and Temporary Entry;
- Border Control and Compliance;
- Refugee and Humanitarian;
- Multicultural Affairs and Citizenship;
- Legal;
- Corporate; and
- Tribunals
