Access and Equity Annual Report 2003
The Access and Equity Annual Report reports on progress in
implementing the Charter of Public Service in a Culturally
Diverse Society (the Charter).
The Charter represents a nationally-consistent approach to
ensuring that government services are delivered in a way that is
sensitive to the language and cultural needs of all Australians.
This is the third year that Commonwealth departments and agencies have been asked to report against the Charter's Performance Management Framework.
This year's report illustrates the considerable progress made in implementing and reporting on Access and Equity by listing the strategies employed by agencies, and by highlighting good practice examples.
