Access and Equity Reports
Access and equity reporting is an important part of the Access and Equity Strategy. An annual report on agencies’ access and equity performance has been tabled in both houses of parliament since 1993, in accordance with the government-endorsed Recommendation 30 of the 1992 Access and Equity Evaluation Report. It aims to place on the public record progress in access and equity in government programs and services, highlighting good practices. The Access and Equity Report 2006-08, covering two years, was tabled in parliament on 18 March 2009.
