Senate Order 192 (Murray Motion) on Departmental and Agency Contracts for the 2013 Calendar Year - 1 January 2013 to 31 December 2013
On 20 June 2001, the Senate agreed to an Order requiring Ministers to table a letter, stating that all Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997 (FMA) agencies falling under their responsibility have placed on the internet a list of contracts of $100 000 (GST inclusive) or more which are current or entered into during the previous twelve months. The Order has been amended a number of times, the most recent being in December 2003.
The Senate Order requires the letter from the Minister to be tabled twice yearly, and no later than 31 August, in the case of the financial year listing and no later than 28 February (29 in a leap year), for the calendar year listing.
This page provides information about the department's Murray Motion report for agency contracts signed with consideration to the value of $100 000 or more and which were current on 1 January 2013, entered into between 1 January 2013 and 31 December 2013 or which have not been fully performed.
It should be noted that the values specified are fixed price values except where the amount payable is dependent on the level of demand for the contracted services. In these cases an estimate of the value of the contract has been made. The values quoted are the best estimates that can be made on the information available to the department at the time the list was prepared. The values are subject to change.

For the purposes of this report, 'provisions' include those contracts that contain express provisions that limit the right of either party to disclose specified contractual information, such as a report prepared under the contract or contractual clauses.
Contracts listed against 'other requirements' include all other contracts that place additional limitations on disclosure of contract information.
