The Citizenship by Grant Application Process

After your interview:

You can expect us to:

decide 90% of applications for citizenship by grant within 90 calendar days of lodgement
liaise with your local council to arrange conferral of your citizenship at the next available ceremony
explain any decision to refuse an application and tell you how to apply for review

We expect you to:

provide any documents or information we request within the specified time or such other time agreed with you
quote your file number or other reference number when you contact us or send us documents
make sure we are able to contact you by telling us if you change your address or other contact details.
