Annual Address on Immigration and Citizenship
The lead event for the department's 65th anniversary celebrations was the inaugural Annual Address on Immigration and Citizenship presented by Professor Ian Chubb, Vice-Chancellor of the Australian National University on 17 March 2010.
The address by Professsor Chubb recognises the nation building role of Australia's migration and citizenship programs, and aims to encourage discussion about the significance of migration to the nation.
