Memorabilia
Throughout the years, the department has produced many brochures and booklets to encourage people to migrate to Australia and help them settle into their new home once they arrive. They provide a fascinating insight into Australian life and culture at the time of publication. The following are some examples from the DIAC library's collection:
- Pamphlet with introduction by Arthur Calwell, Minister for Immigration and for Information (circa 1945 - 1949)
